The famed outdoor museum explores the history of Welsh life through the centuries. You can all but time travel back to a Celtic village and immediately return to the comfort of a modern nearby pub.
The St Fagan’s Museum is set in the grounds of a 16th century castle, which is great for the whole family to explore. The museum also holds a variety of events through the year and admission is completely free!

Visit Ystradfellte Valley in Powys
As one of the most stunning natural spectacles of South Wales, walk behind the beautiful waterfall Sgwd y Eira in the Ystradfellte Valley. Take your hiking boots, you’re going to need them! As the area can be muddy. Take part in the hiking trail that you can follow from a designated carpark. The car park is chargeable, however, but if you choose to extend your hike you can find free parking in Yestradfellte or Penderyn.
